Valdez Roofing has operated in the Amarillo area since our company started in 2007. While we hang our hat in Dumas, not a week goes by that we’re not in our Amarillo offices on a near daily basis. You’ve probably seen our trucks around. We’re the men in black.
Every year we’ve done more and more work in Amarillo, and we couldn’t be happier to call it our second home. We’ve done a lot of big jobs lately including Red Roof Inn on I-40, several homes in Wolflin, Puckett and many near Arden Road. We’re getting busier and busier all over Amarillo, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work you’re allowing us to do for you there.
Amarillo can be rough on a roof. We usually always see a huge hailstorm roll through every 3 to 5 years that brings destructive hail damage. Wind damage is more common though. It is the windiest city in America according to NOAA averaging 13.6 mph winds. We don’t know how Chicago got that nickname; they aren’t even in the top 10 with their whispy 10.6 mph average. A high plains storm causes serious damage here, and we’re no strangers to knowing all the tricks and tips of what works in roofing the areas’ structures. We’re also state-certified to do all the standard inspections your roof may need for insurance, municipal code, and mortgage requirements.
We’re grateful for the opportunity we’ve had to grow with Amarillo, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future of our home away from home. It seems like just the other day you could drive all the way across town in less than 20 minutes. That seems to be changing more and more with each passing year, and while it’s not that convenient to get stuck in Amarillo traffic or to go through what seems to be endless road construction, we’re happy to see the city growing. Most importantly, we’re glad to have been apart of it over the years.
